内容記述 ウシの消化器官における分泌型炭酸脱水酵素(CA-VI)の組織局在を明らかにする目的で,抗ウシCA-VI血清を用いて消化器官各部組織について免疫組織化学的手法により調べた。その結果CA-VIは食道粘膜上皮おおよび前胃部粘膜上皮の重層扁平上皮の基底細胞,大腸各部の腸腺上部上皮,耳下腺漿液細胞,下顎腺の漿液性半月細胞と導管系上皮,単孔舌下腺および食道腺上皮細胞にその存在を示す免疫反応が見られた。これらの免疫組織化学的組織局在の結果はウシではCA-VIは例えば,口腔,食道腔を初めとする消化管腔などの消化管領域での,pH調節,イオンや体液のイオンバランスの維持,あるいは細胞増殖における調節作用の役割を果たしていると考えられた。
