| 内容記述 | It is said that Japanese people do not speak English well considering the amount of the time they spend studying it. There are many reasons for this, and one of them is the university English entrance examination. In the examination, the knowledge the examinees need has been almost the same for years, and it is reading, grammar, and vocabulary. Therefore, the students have not been motivated to learn other language skills. Considering this situation, the Japanese government cannot foster Japanese people with English ability even when they implement new language policies. In this paper, replacing the current English entrance exam with TOEFL is proposed as a solution, and its possibility is discussed. | |||||||
