 note = {平成14年より行われている動物介在活動・療法(AAT/AAA)教育プログラムは,AAT/AAAに関わる人材を育てるために行動学者,人と動物の関係学の研究者,動物福祉の研究者,獣医師,心理学者,精神科医,心理療法士らにより実施され,2年間で修了する継続的な教育カリキュラムである。Dennis C. Turner博士(institute for applied Ethology and Animal Psychology所長,スイス,本学客員教授)によって開発されたこのプログラムは,1998年に行われたプラハでのIAHAIO (international Association of Human and Animal Interaction Organizations)国際会議で発表され,1999年の4月に第一期生をスイスで迎え,現在はアメリカをはじめ国際的に認知されている。本学では,Turner博士を含む欧米の教育・研究者と本学教員からなる講師陣を構成し,獣医学部ならびに獣医学研究科の研究教育カリキュラムへの導入を図った。本プログラムの講義は英語で行われ,心理学,人と動物の関係学,人と動物に関する行動学,動物の心理学,AAT/AAAに携わる動物への適切なケア,AAT/AAAに関する倫理や危機管理,患者自身の安全管理,人獣共通感染症,産業動物や野生動物を用いた作業療法など多岐にわたる。さらに,2年の間に英語による課題レポートを提出し,最終試験として英語の口頭試問が行われる。このプログラムを修了することによって得た認定証は,日本はもちろん,ヨーロッパ各国および北米でも通用するものである。本学においても2004年3月に認定を受けた第一期生に続き二期生,さらに三期生が本プログラムを修了し,認定を受けた。また,現在受講している第四期生,第五期生への修丁後の活躍が期待される。, The Azabu animal-assisted therapy, AAT, and activities, AAA, educational program is the 2 years curriculum for people who are interested in AAT and AAA. It has been established for the postgraduate students in April 1, 2002, which was the first endeavor at the universities in the world. The program was developed by Dr. Dennis C. Turner who is the visiting professor at Azabu University. This program is not only admitted as the national license for the AAT/AAA in Switzerland, but also highly estimated the quality and effectiveness by the organizations of the AAT/AAA, especially in Germany, Austria, and the United States of America. The students who completed the course were given the certificates for the AAT/AAA coordinator. The program has continued for the 4th and 5th students, and now the lectures have been performed on diverse fields as follows: the instruction for the interaction between human and animal, the fundamental knowledge and technique for the AAT/AAA by Dr. Dennis C. Turner; how to learn and study the human and animal interaction by Lynette A. Hart; specific profiles of behavior in highbred dogs by Benjamin L. Hart; the history of human animal interaction, the effects of the human animal interaction on human health, and the behavior problems in dogs by James A.
